Supercoloring features a wide range of creative resources released under various free public licenses. Each media page includes a Permission field indicating the applicable license or usage rights. Before printing, modifying, or redistributing any content, please carefully review the corresponding license.


Below is a list of all free public licenses currently used on Supercoloring with short explanations and links to the official texts when available.


Public domain (CC0)

Public domain materials may be freely copied, shared, modified, reused, and distributed for any personal or commercial purpose without asking permission. Attribution is not required, although it is appreciated when possible.

Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY)

Content under the CC BY license may be shared, adapted, remixed, and used commercially, provided proper attribution is given to the original author. Supercoloring may host works under CC BY 4.0 and earlier compatible versions.

Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike (CC BY-SA)

This license allows sharing and commercial reuse of the content, as well as modifications, provided that attribution is given and derivative works are distributed under the same CC BY-SA license.

"Free to use"

Some resources on Supercoloring are marked as “Free to use.” These materials may typically be used for personal, educational, and commercial purposes unless otherwise restricted on the specific media page. Attribution is not required but appreciated.


MIT License

A widely used permissive free license allowing reuse, modification, redistribution, and commercial use of the material. The only requirement is that the original copyright notice and license text remain intact when redistributing.

A permissive open-source license allowing modification, redistribution, and commercial use. Attribution and preservation of copyright notices are required.

Iconfinder Free License

Some icons are provided under Iconfinder’s free license. It allows editing, sharing, and commercial reuse, as well as use in merchandise, but prohibits reselling the icon as a standalone file.

Usage restrictions for copyrighted images

Not all images on Supercoloring are released under free licenses. If a file does not explicitly indicate a public license in the Permission field, then full copyright restrictions apply. In such cases, you may NOT:

  • Download the copyrighted material except for personal, at-home use.
  • Sublicense, distribute, transfer, or assign rights to the Image(s).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, translate, or disassemble any part of the Image(s).
  • Remove any watermark, copyright notice, or attribution from the Image(s).
  • Display the Image(s) digitally above 72 dpi in a way that may be interpreted as redistribution.
  • Use the Image(s) as part of a trademark, logo, or service mark.
  • Redistribute the Image(s) as clipart, templates, or design assets, or use them to compete with Supercoloring.
  • Use the Image(s) in electronic products intended for mass distribution (apps, software, games, e-greetings, etc.).
  • Use the Image(s) in mobile/wireless apps or devices without explicit permission.
  • Use model- or character-based images in sensitive subject areas without written permission.
